Oobleck

At Paihia school we have had a science week we have got to make really cool things but my favorite thing so far was oobleck because it was so hard and watery. My favorite part was getting messy and playing with it but there was oobleck everywhere on the floor that's how messy it was. I think science is awesome because we get to do fun experiments and cool messy stuff hopefully we can do this next time. Here is my oobleck DLO

Learning Goals

In Te Maunga we have been accomplishing our own learning goals. I have been working on my personal goal try not to sit with someone I won’t social talk to. Here is My WALT: write a quality blog post. I am learning ad more d I think I should try not sit with the people  I will  social talk with like my friends because I do sometimes social talk with them. I should start sitting with sensible  people like Lili-Rose ,Indie and my reading group so I won’t  social talk to. If I accomplish my goal I will get a new goal start straight away. I also hope I improve with My goal over the week. Here is my goals

Waitangi recount

In Te Maunga we were learning to write a recount about our trip  to the waitangi treaty grounds and what we did. I think I did well at using a  hook to make the reader more interested in my writing. I think I need to work on saying how long took and when we walked to waitangi. Anyway here is my writing

Maui Matau Te whanganui
kuit
On Tuesday the whole of paihia school went to the Waitangi treaty grounds Then I a had a feeling we were going to have the longest walk ever . The very first thing we did was lining up in are lines on the court ready to leave to the Waitangi treaty grounds whaea Becks yelled get into your lines. Then  we were ready to take off to the Waitangi treaty grounds.  We all started sprinting so we would get there even  faster.  Then within  one minute of sprinting we were at the treaty grounds we saw all of Nga Motu walking out of the treaty grounds with these flacks kites they were awesome they slowly drifting in the air when they were holding on to the kites. After that we  all walk to a white tent  in the middle of the treaty grounds we Talked the three activities we were going to be doing at the treaty grounds.  So then I  stayed here and got into groups started Weaving with Anyah under and over again and then my side of Weaving was done so tied my top of my Weaving  in a ponytail. Then I  helped Anyah Weave  her side so then we went under over under over then we got told to the top as soon we're half  way then we all Ran out of the tent for the next game . Then we all got up in and took two steps back then we talked about the game kuti so two people are blind folded with kuti in their hands then the first one to touch each other win and someone else has ago  then it Anyah and  Ezra then Anyah shacked the shell twice Ezra came closer then …. Anayah smacked him It was funny. Then after  all 3 games  we got called  to play the game maui  matau  Te whanganui. Then we all stand up in between the two lines  so if she said  maui we would go left  if she said matau we would right and lastly  Te whanganui we would go in the  middle of the lines. if you  mucked up you would sit down. So the first thing she called out  was maui we jumped left then she said maui  again we stayed still then matau we all jumped right and she lastly said Te whanganui then we sat down. Then we  went to do some  planting in the bush we learnt about all different plants then Bella was my buddy to do some planting then small plant and little black shovel then whole to dig safely put the plant in its whole and watered our plant .

I think I did well at saying when it happend and the time and when it ended. I could do better at getting more facts into one slide. Here are one facts about the London fire a lady named Samara lamrain who was screaming when the fire was blazing down so she through her baby out of the window and surprisingly was caught by a firemen. Here is my slide show⤋⤋⤋⤋⤋⤋⤋.

Persuasive writing

In Te Maunga we have been learning how to write  a persuasive argument. I think I did well at  saying why Chromebooks can help us in our learning. I think I could work on say my argument better with describing words. here is my writing⇓⇓⇓

I believe  that Chromebooks are a good way of  Kids & adults  and schools learning.

Firstly if  our teacher is teaching others we could look at the time table and do what we are doing next that is great so we  don’t interrupt the teacher when she is teaching others.

It  Can help us so when the teacher is busy we can go do something else.
Secondly  Chromebooks also help us so if we are sick we can email the teacher and say what we are doing.

Thirdly chromebooks I agree we should have chromebooks  help us when  we need to do research about a country or an object you need to learn more about so you understand it.

Finally When you're sick I can just ask my teacher what we are doing today. Then I could finish some work that I need to do because everything is on are site and in our google drive.

So here is my last Conclusion I agree we should have chromebooks when  we learn. And I also  believe  that chromebooks are a good way of  Kid & adults  and schools learning. And I hope you agree with my point and let your school  be great and have chromebooks involved in your school!!

Sweden

In Te Maunga we were learning to research about a different country. I think i did well at picking a country and picking a buddy that I had not worked with yet and making a slide show about what we learnt about Sweden. I  think we have to work out at finding out how far Sweden was from New Zealand.  Here is my slide show.⇩⬇⇩⬇
